Subscription, payment, and cancellation terms
This is a starting summary of the subscription terms. It needs legal review before it stands as your binding terms of service.
Subscriptions and pricing
Gridwork is billed per company. Your account holds a single subscription whose quantity equals the number of companies you have, charged at a monthly per-company rate shown before checkout. Billing follows the calendar month: you're charged on the 1st for the companies in your account. Companies added during a month are not charged until the next 1st. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
Some accounts have an individually negotiated price agreed in writing. Where such an agreement exists, its terms (including any per-company rate and any included add-ons) apply to that account and override the public price list. A negotiated price is specific to the account and is not transferable.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By setting up billing, you authorize Gridwork, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the monthly per-company fee.
Failed payments
If a monthly payment fails, Stripe retries for several days. While a payment is overdue, your companies become read-only (viewable but not editable). If the payment is not resolved, the subscription may be cancelled.
Cancellation
Removing all companies, or cancelling from the Stripe customer portal, ends the subscription at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide automatic prorated refunds for partial months.
Refunds
Refunds are handled case by case. Contact support to request one.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time, which cancels your subscription. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or carry unpaid balances.
