Account settings — Danger Zone
Permanently delete your account and all associated data
The Danger Zone tab is where destructive, irreversible account actions live. The only action there today is account deletion, but it's intentionally separated from everything else so it's never clicked by accident.
Where to find it
Open Settings → Danger Zone. The tab is highlighted in red so it's easy to recognize and hard to confuse with normal settings.
Deleting your account
- Click Delete account.
- A confirmation modal opens asking you to type the exact account name to unlock the delete button.
- Once the names match, click Delete account permanently.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no recycle bin and no recovery window.
What gets deleted
When the delete completes, the account and everything beneath it is removed:
- All companies, locations, employees, services, jobs, references, posts.
- All custom field definitions and values.
- All API keys, integrations, and saved sort orders.
- All members' association with this account (their user records survive if they belong to other accounts).
- All gallery images stored in connected blob storage.
- Any pending verification or invite tokens.
If this account was your only account, your user record is also removed and any pending verification emails are invalidated.
Confirmation email
You receive an email confirming the deletion at the address tied to the user who triggered it. If you receive that email and didn't trigger the deletion, contact support immediately — someone with admin access may have acted on your behalf.
Who can delete
Only account admins see the Danger tab. Members with lower roles cannot reach it.
